Financial Help Statistics for UNG

Financial help refers to monetary assistance that students can access such as scholarships, grants, and other financial help that will allow students to smoothly pursue their course study and is entirely given based on need or merit.

In the case of need-based aid, this is considered based on your or your family’s financial ability to pay your tuition. The organization in charge of this is Free Application for Federal Student Aid, called FAFSA. The average scholarship or grant awarded to first-year students is based on the need of the students at the University of North Georgia and this stood at $5,169. Furthermore, 55% of first-year students received financial aid based on their needs in fall 2019.
