Are you thinking of taking your program at the University of Columbia? If so, come and read about what you must know. Just like every other Ivy League school, the University of Columbia, or Columbia as it’s commonly called too has strict admission criteria. Any applicant must work very hard to have a place in the university.

The budget for students at each school varies and depends on many factors such as tuition, fees, room and board, travel, accommodation, and other necessary expenses.
So at the University of Columbia, there are listed student expenses which we will use this space to discuss, it’s called cost of attendance.

University of Columbia Cost of Attendance (Budget)

Each school in the university calculates the course of attendance to determine the amount of money a student will expend to complete his/her course of study. It’s mathematically based on tuition, fees, and living expenses

COA=tuition+fees+living expenses.

Cost of Attendance is also used to represent the aid eligibility of a student.
The University of Columbia’s average cost of study is $23,306 after aid and this comprises grants and scholarships from the institution, state, and federal government. And the average cost to expend before aid is $77,603. This is just on the average calculation not based on the total amount a student is expected to spend per semester or term.
